Andreu Pitarch is a drummer, composer and educator. Originally from Barcelona, he moved to NYC in 2017 to pursue a Master's Degree at Manhattan School of Music. He graduated, Summa Cum Laude, in May 2019. Previously, he studied his undergrad both in Barcelona (ESMUC) and Amsterdam (Conservatorium van Amsterdam).
He has toured around Spain, Portugal, Belgium, The Netherlands, Italy, Canada and the United States. He has performed at clubs and festivals such as Birdland, Smalls Jazz Club, Mezzrow, Jamboree, Bimhuis, Festival de Jazz de Terrassa...
He has over 7 years worth of teaching experience, having taught drums and ensemble to students of varying age and level, both in Barcelona and NYC.
